To perform technical and system support for Tier 2

 

Job Duties:

  • Manage hardware and software installation and maintenance for workstations, copiers, video conference systems, wireless networks, and peripheral devices

  • Identify, log, and resolve technical issues related to software applications or network systems.

  • Suggest potential improvements to senior team leaders for consideration and implementation.

  • Ensure work is carried out within agreed service levels

  • Create, maintain, and distribute progress reports to senior leadership

  • Maintain an inventory of PCs and devices

  • Test, plan, and supervise the deployment of new operating system releases, patches, and software updates

  • Manage hardware diagnoses and repairs, coordinating with appropriate service vendors when needed

 

Job Requirement:

  • Postgraduate Diploma or above

  • Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar role

  • Hands-on experience with Windows OS, Microsoft products (M365) and printing

  • Knowledge of network security practices and Windows software

  • Ability to perform remote troubleshooting

  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills

  • Strong understanding of hardware, software, and TCP/IP networking principles

  • Basic knowledge of telephony and AV system

  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office, Patch Management, Anti-Malware, desktop/laptop imaging, anti-virus, and inventory management tools

  • Excellent knowledge of computers (PC, Laptop, and Mac) and peripherals

  • Working knowledge of managing tickets, follow-up actions, and issue resolution

  • Good command of written and spoken of English and Chinese
